A day to gather what is precious, to lay down what has become too heavy to carry, and to prepare ourselves for the quieter season that awaits.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"text-align: center;\"\u003eFor months we have lived beneath longer days and open skies. We have watched the hedgerows flower and fruit. We have felt the warmth of the sun upon our skin. We have witnessed the quiet miracle of things growing, ripening and coming to fullness.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"text-align: center;\"\u003eNow the season begins to change.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"text-align: center;\"\u003eThe mornings arrive a little cooler. The evenings draw in a little sooner. Leaves loosen their grip upon the branches and the earth begins her slow exhale.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"text-align: center;\"\u003eTogether we will journey through the elements, listening for their wisdom and remembering our place within the living world.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"text-align: center;\"\u003eEarth will invite us to remember our belonging.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"text-align: center;\"\u003eWater will carry our prayers and offerings.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"text-align: center;\"\u003eAir will move through breath, drum and silence.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"text-align: center;\"\u003eFire will illuminate what we are called to tend as the days grow darker.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"text-align: center;\"\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"text-align: center;\"\u003eThrough movement, reflection and ritual, we will honour the season of letting go. Like the trees releasing their leaves, we too will be invited to soften our grip on all that no longer belongs to us.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"text-align: center;\"\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"text-align: center;\"\u003eA red thread ceremony will weave through our gathering, connecting us to the women who came before us and those yet to come. Anointing will be offered as a blessing and a remembering.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"text-align: center;\"\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"text-align: center;\"\u003eAt the centre of our gathering will be a banquet of seasonal foods shared in community. A table rich with the gifts of the harvest.
