Beltane Celebration: A Sacred Spring Rite

Sunday 3rd May · 12 – 4pm

Step into a sacred day of ceremony and reflection, honouring Beltane - the Celtic festival marking the midpoint between spring and summer, a time of fertility, creativity, and deep connection. This celebration invites you to commune with the rhythms of the year, the land, and the fertile potential within yourself.

Our gathering is rooted in the temple space, creating a serene and sacred environment for ceremony, sharing, and reflection, with meaningful time also spent outdoors beside the Hawthorn tree:

Sacred Creation & Ceremony

Inside the temple, we will craft flower crowns and engage in ceremonial practices that honour the fertile ground of our inner lives. Women will be invited to walk through a symbolic passageway, marking what they are birthing into the world - creatively, emotionally, and spiritually.

Outdoor Ritual & Tree Adornment

Some of our time will be spent outside by the Hawthorn tree, weaving a community garland of ribbons and flowers and leaving offerings for the wildlife and the fae - honoring the folklore that links Hawthorn trees to luck, prosperity, and fertility. This sacred outdoor practice complements the temple ceremony, extending our connection to nature.

 Sacred Circle & Sharing

Within the temple, we will gather in circle to share stories, hold space for one another, and deepen our connection to the feminine, to the land, and to the turning of the wheel.

🍵 Seasonal Nourishment & Reflection

Herbal teas and seasonal foods will be offered, alongside time for journaling, meditation, and stillness - weaving together ancestral wisdom, Celtic tradition, and personal reflection.

Beltane is a rite of renewal and devotion, honoring growth, life, and creativity. This immersive experience invites you to slow down, celebrate the fertile potential within yourself, and step fully into a circle of women - sacredly gathered inside the temple and blessed by the open sky beside the Hawthorn tree.
