Seasonal Foraging Workshop with Laurie
A Morning of Foraging, Folklore & Herbal Wisdom 🌿✨
Â
Come and join Laurie for a morning of deep connection—where movement, land, and plant wisdom intertwine.
Â
We will begin by walking the sacred lands of The Barn Temple, listening to the whispers of the earth and discovering the quiet abundance growing all around us. This is an invitation to step into an ancient rhythm, to walk the paths our ancestors once walked, and to remember the stories held within the wild plants at our feet.
Â
As we wander, Laurie will guide you in recognising the plants that have long been cherished for their medicinal gifts and folklore. You will learn how to honour them, how to work with them, and how to transform them into teas, oils, balms, and tinctures—bringing their quiet magic into your home.
Â
🌾 A Flowing Morning of Connection
Â
To deepen your experience, you are warmly invited to begin the morning with a gentle, grounding Earth-Based Yin Yoga class before stepping into the land’s embrace. This practice is designed to soften you into presence, attuning your body and breath to the rhythms of the earth before we walk together in nature.
Â
✨ Schedule:
🌿 9:30–10:45 AM | Earth-Based Yin Yoga (Optional – join if you feel called)
🌿 11:15 AM | Foraging Walk – Discover the wild plants, learn their folklore & medicinal uses
🌿 12:15 PM | Tea Making & Herbal Wisdom – Create your own herbal tea blend & learn how to work with the plants
Â
You are welcome to join for the full experience—beginning with yin yoga and flowing into the foraging walk—or arrive at 11:15 AM to step straight into the plant teachings.
Â
Bring a foraging basket if you wish, and perhaps a notepad if you like to gather words as well as leaves.

Â
A Note on Foraging & Responsibility
Â
Laurie has spent over eight years walking this land, working with its plants, and learning their language through experience and deep connection. Though she does not hold formal qualifications in herbalism, her knowledge has been gathered through years of practice, guided by the wisdom of those who came before.
Â
There was a time when this knowledge was forbidden, when the voices of the plants and those who listened were silenced. But these teachings belong to us all. They are meant to be remembered, to be reclaimed, and to be shared with reverence.
Â
If you choose to step into this space, we ask that you do so with awareness and responsibility. Laurie will teach you how to forage mindfully and safely, offering guidance on identifying and working with plants. However, what you choose to harvest and how you choose to use it remains your own responsibility.
Â
✨ A morning of movement, connection, and deep remembering—woven with the rhythms of the earth.
