Whispers of Spring

Sunday 22 March, 1pm to 4pm

The Barn Temple

I invite you to join me within this intimate space, as we gather together as a circle of women and welcome the subtle magic of spring. In this seasonal gathering we will honour the threshold between the seasons, through painting, storytelling, and planting intentions together.

You will be provided with all materials to create your own canvas, inspired by a central altar overflowing with fresh seasonal blooms. As you paint you will be accompanied by the gentle sounds of classical music, allowing the melodies to mingle with your creativity.

Throughout the session you will hear ancient stories and folklore of Ostara and the spring equinox. Storytelling is one of the oldest practices of women’s circles, a way of passing wisdom, myth, and the rhythms of the seasons through generations. By listening to these ancient tales of Ostara, the spring equinox, and the cycles of life, we open a space for reflection, wonder, and connection.

Weaving this storytelling with the act of painting allows us to gently drop out of our left-brain thinking and into our feminine flow, the soft, intuitive, and creative space so deeply needed. As the stories move through us and our brushes translate them into colour and form, we are invited to fully embody the season’s awakening and to rest in the quiet potency of our own presence.

At the heart of our circle we will plant a rosemary and a laurel tree together. Within these pots we will hold our intentions for ourselves and for the community, planting connection, care, and gentle emergence. This shared act of nurturing becomes a living symbol of the circle’s energy, carrying our intentions forward.

We will share a seasonal banquet of food together. Please let us know of any allergies upon booking so that we can make this nourishing offering safe for everyone. A carefully selected herbal tea, chosen to reflect the qualities of this season, will also be offered.

Everyone will leave with their own canvas, hearts filled with ancient stories, and a deepened connection to themselves and the community. This will be a space to rest, reflect, and witness the unfolding of beauty, colour, and intention in the collective circle.
