The Deep Exhale | Yin Yoga , Yoga Nidra & Sound Healing Class
The Deep Exhale
Where breath meets stillness
A trauma-informed sanctuary of rest, sound journeying, and surrender.
Join us twice a month on Thursday evenings for a time of deep restoration.
This 90-minute class is a gentle invitation to soften the edges of your week and return to yourself through:
Yin Yoga – long-held, floor-based poses to release physical and energetic tension
Yoga Nidra – a guided meditative journey into rest and awareness
Sound Healing – chimes, singing bowls, and resonance to soothe the nervous system
Each session is held in a softly lit space with woven textures, warm tones, and a spaciousness that welcomes you exactly as you are.
We begin with grounding and breath, settle into supportive shapes, and drift into stillness - held by sound, silence, and gentle guidance.
The Deep Exhale is a signature offering at The Barn Temple, blending Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra & Sound Healing for a deeply restorative experience. This class is not included in regular passes and memberships, but you can join by purchasing a class pass, giving you flexibility to choose what works best for your practice.
Is this offering right for me?
This experience is suitable for most people and no previous experience with meditation, Reiki, or sound healing is required.
You are warmly encouraged to listen to your body and honour your own needs throughout the session.
Sound healing may not be suitable for those who are in their first trimester of pregnancy, experience sound-sensitive epilepsy, or have any condition that may be affected by vibration or prolonged exposure to sound. If you are unsure whether this offering is appropriate for you, please get in touch before booking and I will be happy to discuss your individual circumstances.
This offering is intended to support relaxation and wellbeing and should not be considered a replacement for medical care, diagnosis, or treatment.
Yoga classes within the temple are held as women-only spaces. This is an intentional container choice to support a quality of experience where women can move, breathe, and explore their practice with a greater sense of ease, freedom, and inward attention. In mixed-gender settings, there can sometimes be subtle layers of self-consciousness or social conditioning that shape how we inhabit our bodies, and this space is held to gently soften that. It is not about exclusion, but about the specific depth and quality of presence that becomes available in a women-held environment.
We recognise this may feel disappointing for some, and this is something that has been considered carefully over time. After listening closely to the women within this space, this feels most aligned with the quality of experience we are committed to holding within the Temple, one of safety, freedom, and inward presence for those who choose to step into it.
