The Softening Between ~ An evening of Yin, Sound, Tea & Intention.
The Softening Between
An evening of Yin, Sound, Tea & Intention
Date: Tuesday 30th December| Time: 6–8pm
Between Christmas and the New Year lies a rare kind of stillness ~ a gentle pause in the winter calendar.
After the intensity of the festive season - the social overwhelm, the fullness of food, the noise, the busyness, the caring, the giving - our bodies begin to whisper for something slower… something softer.
The Softening Between is an evening created for exactly this moment...
We begin with a quiet seed-planting ritual, a chance to set an intention for what you wish to nurture in the year ahead.
Then we move into a deeply restful Yin practice, supporting digestion, soothing the nervous system, and helping the body unwind from the stimulation of the holidays.
A soft sound journey follows — bowls, chimes and gentle resonance - inviting you into deep parasympathetic rest.
We close with herbal tea and simple winter nibbles, allowing space to breathe, to land, and to honour the turning of the year.
This evening is an exhale.
An invitation back to yourself.
A soft place to rest before stepping into what comes next.
Held with warmth, candlelight and deep care at The Barn Temple.
