A Creative Ceremony to Welcome the Year Ahead

As the year turns and the light begins its slow return, we gather in circle to honour both the darkness and the dreams stirring beneath it. This is a tender time - after the fullness of Christmas and the depth of the solstice, when many of us feel the quiet pull inward, seeking meaning, warmth, and connection.
In this intimate circle, we will weave our own dreamcatchers using recycled sari silk, crystals, trinkets, and treasures. Each thread will carry our intentions, prayers, and dreams for the year ahead - a tangible talisman of what we are calling in.
We will work with the mythic energy of Arachne, the Weaver, and other goddesses of creation and fate - archetypes of the divine spinner who weaves the worlds. Through reflection, gentle ritual, and shared creativity, we’ll honour the threads of our lives, what is ending, what is being rewoven, and what is waiting to emerge.
There will be time for sharing in circle, as well as tea, cake, and community, an invitation to soften into the sacred art of making and being together.
