A sacred circle of rest, breath, and preparation for mothers-to-be.
Held gently within the womb-like warmth of The Barn Temple, Sanctum offers a weekly invitation to come home to your body, your baby, and the quiet inner wisdom guiding your journey toward birth.
Each 75-minute session includes a blend of:
- Pregnancy-safe yoga and somatic movement
– Breathwork & pelvic floor awareness
– Reflection, sharing, and sisterhood
No experience needed. Suitable from second trimester onward.
All props provided. Class size limited to 8 for an intimate, nurturing space.

🌿 When can I start attending Sanctum?
Sanctum is suitable from your second trimester onwards (13+ weeks), once you’ve had the go-ahead from your midwife or GP. If you’re unsure, just message me and we can talk it through.
🌸 Do I need to have done yoga before?
Not at all. This circle is open to complete beginners and experienced yogis alike. Everything is offered gently and mindfully, with options for rest, support, and intuitive movement.
💫 What happens during the class?
Each session blends gentle pregnancy-safe yoga, breathwork, somatic awareness and deep rest. Most weeks we flow through movement and breath.
There is space for quiet reflection, optional sharing, and connection to baby, body, and self.
🕯 How many women are in the class?
No more than 8 women per class, to keep the space intimate, safe, and deeply held.
🧘♀️ Do I need to bring anything?
Just wear comfy clothes and bring some water. All mats, bolsters, blankets, and props are provided for you.
🪷 What if I feel emotional, anxious, or overwhelmed?
You are so welcome here. This is a trauma-informed space where all of you is honoured. You’re invited to show up exactly as you are - tired, joyful, tender, or uncertain.
✨ What happens after birth? Is there ongoing support?
Yes. After your baby is born, at The Barn Temple we offer continued postpartum healing and nourishment, including:
– Closing the Bones rituals
– Womb massage & yoni steaming
– Postnatal yoga & sound healing
These can be arranged privately at The Barn Temple or in your home.
